hello there,
i have currently worked on a costume based on one of the costumes worn by the Aquabats.
--the challenge was that the shirt is a rashguard(surf shirt), which are expensive, but on top of that, it is a gold rashguard, which are impossible to find. so, i made one from scratch, from the same material they are originally made from.
--for the belt and wristguard, i used vinyl, for both main base and the accents. that is also what is used in the original costume.
--for the helmet and the goggles, i used vinyl. which is not the original materials. the original material is neoprene(what wetsuits are made of). and i had actually planned on using neoprene for these items, but my sources never replied to my email(they still haven't, after 2 months). so i do eventually plan on making the mask and helmet out of the appropriate material.
--the logo is a custom logo. during this era of costumes, each band member had a custom logo(usually having to go with their name). i am AWESOME LAD. and thumbs up are awesome.
